Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how c3nsor (“we,” “us”) collects and uses personal information on this website (including our early-access waitlist). It does not cover third-party sites you visit while using the Chrome extension.

Information we collect

If you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you submit. We may also receive basic technical data from your browser when you load this site (such as IP address, browser type, and approximate location) through our hosting provider (for example GitHub Pages) or form processor.

We do not require an account to browse this marketing site. We do not sell your personal information.

How we use information

We use technical hosting logs only to operate and secure the site (for example diagnosing outages or abuse).

Who we share information with

Waitlist submissions are processed by Formspree (or a similar form provider we configure) so we can receive your email. Hosting may be provided by GitHub Pages or another static host. Those providers process data under their own terms so we can run this site.

We do not share waitlist emails with advertisers. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users’ safety.

Cookies and local storage

This marketing site does not rely on advertising cookies. Your browser may store ordinary technical data for the session. The c3nsor Chrome extension keeps a short session cache of analysis results on your device only; it does not send your browsing history to our servers.

The Chrome extension

When you use the extension, policy text is fetched and analyzed on your device with local rules. We do not operate a cloud service that logs which sites you analyze. See the extension README and Chrome Web Store listing (when published) for permission details.

The “Try it” web demo

On the Try it page, sample results and any policy text you paste are analyzed in your browser. Pasted text is not uploaded or stored.

If live URL analysis is enabled, the website or policy URL you enter is sent to our page proxy (hosted on Cloudflare Workers), which downloads that public page and returns it to your browser for analysis. The proxy does not store the pages or keep a list of URLs, but Cloudflare may process standard request data (such as IP address and the requested URL) under its own terms to operate and secure the service.

Your choices

To request access, correction, or deletion of your waitlist email, contact us at the address below. You can also unsubscribe using links in any email we send when available.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
